The Windmill (Storm Warning)

A small, spinning paper windmill attached to your backpack.

• Function: Visualizes wind speed and direction.
• Why use it?: In Cairn, wind gusts can dislodge you. The sound of wind is a warning, but the Windmill gives you precise timing.
• Strategy: When the windmill spins violently, STOP. Brace (hold buttons) until it slows down.

Climbot (The Companion)

Your robotic assistant. It crawls on the wall independently.

• Scavenge Mode: Send Climbot to search nearby cracks for scrap or old pitons.
• Retrieval: Can retrieve Perfectly Placed pitons from below you.
• Limitation: Has a battery/range limit. Don't send it too far or you lose it until you rest.

Glowing Gloves

• Function: Illuminates the immediate area around your hands.
• Use Case: Night climbing or deep chimney sections where shadows hide holds.

Troglodyte Doll

• Function: A mystical item found in the Village.
• Effect: Using it consumes the doll but instantly clears the weather (stops rain/storm).
• ** Strategic Use**: Save this for the "Death Zone" near the summit where a storm means certain death.
