Aava is a professional mountaineer.

• Conflict: She leaves behind family and friends. Throughout the climb, she listens to voice messages from home, highlighting the sacrifice of her ambition.
• Themes: Freedom, Obsession, Isolation.

The Trilogy of Freedom

The Game Bakers consider Cairn the conclusion of a thematic trilogy:

1. Furi: Fighting for freedom (Combat).
2. Haven: Loving freely (Romance/Flow).
3. Cairn: Moving freely (Simulation/Survival).

The Goal

Reach the summit. But the game asks: "At what cost?"
